Banksy One.
Banksy is a notorious British graffiti artist, political activist and painter, whose identity is unknown. His unique street art is a combination of witty humor with graffiti done in a distinctive stenciling technique. This art has been featured on streets, walls, and bridges of cities throughout the world. This art work in particular is a graffiti piece depicting graffiti removal. Created in May 2008 at Leake Street in London and painted over in August 2008. The artwork shows animal paintings resembling cave art from Lascaux being removed by a council worker with a water blaster. This artwork is exhibiting a very clever message showing that graffiti today is like our modern day cave art and by removing our “cave art” we art destroying our culture and not letting us express ourselves for who we are. It is saying that if we cherish the “street art” of our ancestor, we should do the same for the cave art of today.

The ice one
Edgar Müller was born in Mülheim/Ruhr on 10 July 1968. He grew up in the rural city of Straelen on the western edge of Germany . His fascination with painting began in his childhood, with paintings of rural scenes of Straelen. Around the age of 25, Müller decided to devote himself completely to street painting. He travelled all over Europe , making a living with his transitory art. He gave workshops at schools and was a co-organizer and committee member for various street painting festivals. this piece in particular He has gone and turned a part of the eastern Pier into the Ice Age at the "Festival of World Culture" in 2008. This piece has never been given a name but is usually referred to as “no fear” or “The Crevasse”. It was done using paint and very precise lines to give that amazing 3D effect although it only looks 3D from one angle. the technique has been known since the Middle Ages and has been used by numerous famous painters including Michaelangelo and Da Vinci.
